Summary: The iBF Executive Programme is jointly organised by International Enterprise (IE) Singapore and Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCCI). Summary: IE Singapore is organizing a business mission to Tianjin from 29-31 May 2013. The mission will be led by Senior Minister of State (Trade & Industry and National Development), Mr Lee Yi Shyan. During the trip, mission delegates will have opportunities to meet Tianjin leaders, get an overview and update on latest developments in the Tianjin Eco-city & Tianjin City, and visit key Singapore projects in Tianjin. This mission would be suitable for companies whom wish to get an overall understanding of Tianjin and network with local officials and Singapore companies based in Tianjin. Tianjin was the fastest growing province in China in 2011 & 2012, with annual GDP of RMB 1.29 trillion, marking a 13.8% year-on-year increase. Tianjin is also home to the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco City, a flagship G-to-G project between Singapore and China. The vision for the Tianjin Eco-city is to create “A thriving city which is socially harmonious, environmentally-friendly and resource-efficient – a model for sustainable development”. Tianjin Eco-city, occupying a total land area of 30 sq km is expected to have an eventual population of 350,000 residents. As Tianjin Eco City continues to welcome new residents, it will offer Singapore companies more business opportunities and a valuable platform to showcase their expertise in sustainable environmental, lifestyle & business services.
